Our customers often ask what is the difference between ERP and CRM system?

In the era of Artificial Intelligence having an organization covered by information system to help bring all participants to one table is a norm. This is why more and more organizations are looking into this subject.

One can say ERP and CRM systems use different concept to increase efficiency and as a consequent – profitability. While in fact ERP or Enterprise resource planning is a business management software (system) that focuses on reducing overheads and cutting costs. Term was first used in the 90s by the Gartner Group but later replaced with ERP2 in another publication by the same group. Current ERP2 systems enabled collaborative concepts such as supply chain management (SCM), business intelligence (BI) or customer relationship management (CRM) using various e-business technologies. By making business processes more efficient, ERP reduces the amount of capital spent on those processes while as its integral part CRM works to increase profits with greater sales volumes done by keeping more efficient communication with customers.
